Goals To integrate students to a study by means of experiments, theory, design, modelling and simulation or studying a publication. To enable them to use their physics and engineering knowledge gained during their education. To gain the ability to present the work by writing and orally.
Course Content About the definition of scientific research, how it is done, its stages and ethical principles information is given. An undergraduate thesis study is conducted on a selected subject in a field under supervision of the faculty member she/he chooses. The student reports the work in a specified format. Gives an oral presentation in front of faculty members and students.
Learning Outcomes 1) They will learn to find solutions to the problems they encounter by using their physics and engineering knowledge.
2) They will learn to do the necessary literature research.
3) They will learn how to design and model on a subject covered by Physics Engineering.
4) Designs a complex system, process, device and product in physics, taking into account economic and sustainability criterias.
5) She/He will gain the awareness of professional ethics.
6) Will have the ability to prepare reports and make presentations.
