Goals This course builds and further develop knowledge in Chinese Art including major styles, schools and influences since the beginning of Chinese history.
Course Content • Examination of the information about issued art works which were related to China's legend period • Examining the information on the investigation of samples and deternmine branch of arts which belongs to periods of Shang and Xia Dynasty •Examining the information on the investigation of samples and deternmine branch of arts which belongs to period of Zhou Dynasty •Examining the information on the investigation of samples and deternmine branch of arts which belongs to period of Spring - Autumn and Warring Emirates •Repetition of the subjects which were taught in last 4 weeks •The effects of Confucian School of thought-on Chinese art-Part 1 •The effects of Confucian School of thought-on Chinese art-Part 2 •The birth and development of the art of painting in China/Part 1 • The birth and development of the art of painting in China/ Part 2 •Repetition of the subjects which were taught in last 4 weeks • The birth of Chinese music and its basic features/ Part 1 • The birth of Chinese music and its basic features/ Part 2 •The changes in the Chinese music with the historical process in China • Shadow play and its historical development in China • The effects of foreigners on Chinese art • Repetition of the subjects which were taught in last 5 weeks
Learning Outcomes 1) Will further develop perspective for Chinese art.
2) Will develop Chinese Art with the aid of audio-visual instruments.
