Goals This course builds and further develop knowledge in Chinese Art including major styles, schools and influences since the beginning of Chinese history.
Course Content • Compilation and analysis of the information about the works of Chinese bronze •Compilation and analysis of the information about the works of Chinese bronze •Examination of the art of sculpture in China • Learn about the historical development of sculpture and famous sculptors in China •Repetition of the subjects which were taught in last 4 weeks •The period of formation and development of Beijing opera •Explaining the importance and meaning of face make-up atBeijing opera •The development of Chinese Cinema • Learn about the famous actors and directors in china • Repetition of the subjects which were taught in last 4 weeks • Research on the art of Chinese paper cutting • Learn and discuss about differences and similarities between Chinese theatre and Western Theatre • Examining on book of "Art of War" that written by Sunzi • Impacts of Sunzi's "Art of War" book on society • Methods in Sunzi's "Art of War" book how to impact on Chinese modern art and community •Repetition of the subjects which were taught in last 5 weeks
