Mode of delivery Russian Folk Tales course provides information on prose types in Russian folk literature. The concept of 'Hikâye' (story) will be explained and analyzed in terms of terminology and classification. Russian and Turkish folk literature, mythology will be compared with folklore texts

Goals Introduction to Russian Folk Literature, learning basic folklore concepts. Slavic paganism is to give information about the gods. To learn translation techniques by reading Russian texts.
Course Content Russian Folk Stories
Learning Outcomes 1) Acquire basic theoretical and practical skills related to Russian Language and Literature.
2) Students reflect what they learn in their scientific studies.
3) Have knowledge of preparing written and visual presentatitons about Russian language and literature.
4) To have the theoretical and practical knowledge about the history, culture, economy, political backgrounds of Russian literature.
5) Translating from Russian to Turkish and from Turkish to Russian.
6) Doing research and academic publications in the field of literature and linguistics.
