Goals The aim of the course is to teach the student how to determine the stylistic feautres of an artowk, to interpret and evaluate the determinations of features such as artist, center, region, date, period of the artwork.
Course Content During this course interprations/discussions are held on the chosen artworks, in relations with style critique/analysis, which is one of the necessary methods of art history field.
Learning Outcomes 1) The student will answer the question of what is style, and will comprehend it's importance in art history.
2) Will gain the ability to style analyzing.
3) Will gain the ability to interpret the identication of the artworks by useing the style critique method.
4) Will gain the ability to prepare a seminar/report in which style critique method is used.
