Goals The aim of the course to have the students gain the habit to examine the handicrafts and ornament samples with scientific methods, to introduce them, to analyze them with determining the stylistic features, to evaluate them and to make scientific discussions.
Course Content Determinations, examinations and researches are made on the handicrafts in terms of the material, technique, decorating and styles of the artworks, a written paper and vocal presentaion will be given.
Learning Outcomes 1) Will gain experience on their occupational researches and studies by using scientific methods.
2) The student will learn doing researches, examination, evaluation and persentation methods of the handicraft and ornament material, will make style critique.
3) The student will carry out researches in libraries and archives, will tkae the necessary measurements by examining the artworks on site, and make their presentations by photographing them.
