Goals * To make comments on Art History's disciplinary history and its forthcoming future in Turkey * To perceive the socio-political and historical identity of historiography * To determine the general framework of art historiography in Turkey * To understand the international situation of art historiography
Course Content This course aims to analyze the methods of writings of art history from articles or books of the week. This course comprises the discipline of art history's stage of development in Turkey, analysis of art history departments and their educational programmes. Art history reference books of Turkey as well covered in the course.
