Goals This course examines recent developments in debates on social sciences methodology and how they are reflected in literature of development and under-development.
Course Content This course deals with certain social phenomenons such as globalisation, localisation and universality and how they are interlinked with social structures of Turkey.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learning and examining literature on development and underdevelopment in Turkey
2) Examining issues about development in Turkey
3) Learning theories of development and under-development.
