Goals In this course, social and technical changes and innovations in the digital transformation process and how these processes should be managed are discussed with the students.
Course Content Digital transformation – definition and categorisation, Digital Transformation Background and Context: Theorizing Transformations, Digital Inequalty and Digital Skills, Digital Transformation and Education, Dimensions of digital transformation, Social Media influence, Transistions of our morality, Digital Tribes, How internet changes our identity, Mental problems using an internet, Internet Governance, New media communication bareers, Digital Natives vs Digital Immigrants, Case studies of digital transformation in different countries, Digital transformation information systems
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains the concept and process of digital transformation.
2) Discusses what is going on in the digital transformation process with its dimensions.
3) Evaluates the internet governance issue in different contexts.
4) Criticizes the effects of new media in terms of benefits and limitations.
