4 BPY1 Conducting postgraduate education and training programs in the field of nuclear sciences and thus contributing to the qualified human resources of our country by educating new generations on nuclear and radiation issues.
5 BPY2 To conduct interdisciplinary research and development studies in the field of nuclear sciences, to contribute to current scientific and technological developments, to contribute to the use of radiation technologies and nuclear technologies using ionizing radiation in the medical, industrial and nuclear sectors, and to use the concepts and applications of radionuclide metrology, medical physics, dosimetry, radiation detection and measurement, neutron/reactor physics, radiation shielding and radiation protection physics for the dose optimization of society in all occupational exposures (medical, industrial, accident).
6 PY1 Identify the types and properties of ionizing radiation.
7 PY2 Calculate the dose of ionizing radiation and explain its interaction with biological tissues and the environment.
8 PY3 Explain and apply ionizing radiation detection and measurement methods, physical basis and measurement systems.
9 PY4 Applying methods that enable obtaining different physical information in medical or environmental applications using ionizing radiation.
10 PY5 Learning, implementing and controlling the regulations required for protection from ionizing radiation.
