This is a Master's degree program that enables nurses who graduated
from a nursing department to gain knowledge and skills in the concepts and
practices of public health nursing and the ability to plan and carry out
scientific research in this field. The program’s required courses are in public
health nurses' managing nursing services, the role of public health nurses in
reproductive health, preparing and implementing training for the public and
in-service staff, nutrition training and practices, and epidemiological
approaches. The elective courses include social service, the functions of
public health nursing in risk groups and role of public health nurses in
controlling contagious diseases.
