Social Psychology Doctorate Program
Goals
The aim of this program is raising social psychologists who have knowledge about various subfields of social psychology, have required skills for planning research designs, are responsive to social issues and capable of conducting basic and applied research on such issues. Also, raising competent social psychologists who have knowledge about interpersonal interactions, have scientific conscious, can think creatively and critical, can work in field and academic settings, is one of the most among program objectives.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Students will have theoretical knowledge of social psychological research topics and use this knowledge to describe social issues and to provide solutions to these issues effectively. Students will conduct research for providing solutions to theoretical restrictions and social issues of social psychological research topics. They will analyze and interpret research findings and report these findings to scientists of both social psychology and of other disciplines by adhering scientific report principles.
