About Program
Nutrition and Dietetics Graduate Program with Thesis is the only program launched within the Graduate School of Health Sciences. The Language of instruction is Turkish. Program includes the compulsory and selective courses in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. In addition to the compulsory courses, students can also select courses from different programs within Graduate School of Health Sciences or other Graduate Schools with the guidance of their advisor. 120 ECTS Credits 18 of which is from compulsory courses on the field and others from selective courses, seminars, and the thesis study must be completed.
Goals
To make individuals have competencies of a specialist by providing advanced knowledge and practice about the protection and improvement of community health care and increase in the quality of life on the field of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Participants have the knowledge of accessing the scientific information, following, analyzing and practicing the current literature in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. They can conduct a research independently with their knowledge on the field and take responsibility as team members in cooperation with other occupational groups. They use the results of their studies on the field for the favor of individuals and community in compliance with the national values.
