About Program
Astronomy and Space Science is one of the fields in Natural Sciences which studies the universe, galaxies, deep space objects, stars and interstellar matter, their interaction, evolution and motion, and develops theories based on the observational models. The Astronomy and Space Sciences Program aims to train qualified personnel who is able to make research and analysis about these subjects. The lectures in the Astronomy and Space Sciences Program includes the topics of general astronomy and astrophysics. The Program includes thesis and without thesis options.
Goals
This Program aims to train science experts who can attain, analyze, interpret and practice scientific knowledge according to the outcomes of the undergraduate and graduate education.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Students who graduate from this program are to earn advanced research and interpretation skills. Put forward new problems on Astronomy and Astrophysics issues and develops solutions for those problems. Represents their research results in orally and writing and shares their results with the other scientists.
