About Program
The vision of the department, being aware of its historically pioneering role in the country, is to perceive and meet the changing expectation of food industry, public, üniversity, and consumer groups in terms of of food technology and food safety, and to be a recognised partner nationwide and worldwide.
Goals
A master degree’s graduates who engaging in research on the basis of current and advanced graduate qualification, contributing to science at the universal level, primarily preferring the food industry, government agencies and universities are trained.
Summary of Program Outcomes
The students who graduates from a master’s degree program: Equipped with sufficient knowledge in food science and technolgy field. Capable of using their knowledge and capabilities in areas such as food production, product development, quality and food control.Focused on research and development. Adapt to teamwork. Respectful to ethics, sociable and aware of current problems.Capable of applying the knowledge about biological and chemical kinetics, biological material, heat and mass transfer and process control. Knowledged in natural components of food and their properties and food processing and preservation. Have the ability to apply the knowledge in food spoilage, quality and control systems, food codex and food analysis.
