About Program
This program comprises the only department launched within the Graduate School of Health Sciences. The language of instruction is Turkish. In order to complete the program, the student must take the compulsory/elective courses, conduct seminars and complete thesis studies.
Goals
To ensure that the individual has the competencies of an academician by providing advanced knowledge and practice about the protection and improvement of community healthcare and increase in the quality of life based in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Updates his field knowledge and acquires new information based on the qualifications of the graduate program. Analyzes the nutrition status of individuals at different stages of life and during diseases, makes comments and gives advice. Conducts teamwork at the national and/or international level in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. Uses information and communications technologies, and shares and supports his/her original views by communicating with persons specializing in the field. Uses the results of his studies in the field for the benefit of individuals and the community, in compliance with the national values.
