About Program
First and Emergency Aid Technician Associate Degree Program affiliated to the Health Vocational Higher School provides 2 years of formal education. The language of instruction is Turkish.
The primary objective of the Associate Degree Program for First Aid and Emergency Aid Technicians is to train Emergency Aid Technicians who will provide treatment and care to be applied at the scene of the accident during the illness or injury and to provide transportation of the patient or injured patient to the hospital with equipped ambulance. For this reason, students practice internship at Ankara University Hospitals, all other universities and state-affiliated hospitals and 112 Provincial Ambulance Services in order to transform theoretical knowledge about the profession of first aid and emergency aid technician in university and develop knowledge and skills practically.
Goals
The aim of the Associate Degree Program for First and Emergency Aid Techniques; Is to train Emergency Aid Technician to provide treatment and nursing service to be applied at the scene at the first place during illness or accidents and to provide transportation of the patient or injured to the hospital with equipped ambulance. To be an ambulance technician, people should be healthy, powerful, quick and accurate, careful, calm and responsive, and able to communicate well with others, especially those who are interested in science, especially in biology and in helping this area to succeed, sick and vulnerable people must.

Using a basic knowledge of the First and Emergency Help area, he or she runs a given task independently.
