About Program
The graduate program which is settled with the name of "Land Management and Policy" in the field of real estate, real estate investments and financing, land management and policy, facility and resource management in the field of academic researches and researches within the scope of the Department of Real Estate Development and Management Department of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences as Turkish and English in 2017. The Graduate Program in Land Management and Policy has an interdisciplinary nature. Within the scope of the program, students will have the ability to acquire practical skills about land economics management and politics, rural / urban area management, natural resources and land conservation, land consolidation, urban development and transformation policies and applications, urban planning and development applications, Geographical Information Systems, cadastral applications, taxation, watershed systems, land acquisition and expropriation, land valuation. The program has multiple disciplines and therefore has an interdisciplinary perspective and is able to meet the expectations and needs of real estate economics, real estate management, valuation, finance and investment, land management and politics, It is a program that will increase from the past to the present day and gain more importance in the future.
Goals
The aim of the Graduate Program in Land Management and Policy is elimination of the need for specialist personnel in land management and to contribute to the development of policies and practices for the solution of the problems encountered in developed and developing countries in the field of land management.
Summary of Program Outcomes
The graduates of the program are provided with the expertise to work in the field of land economics, management and politics, and the development of application skills, the ability to understand and solve problems in practice, and the opportunity for career development and implementation. Students are also provided with project assistantship (scholarship student) and summer semester internships, as well as the opportunity to gain work experience and work experience in the graduate programs.
