The Title Obtained: Doctor of Science

Preconditions: Achievement of degree of Master of Science in the field of analytical chemistry

Targets:

1. Knowledge: Recent applications in basic issues and novelties in analytical chemistry.
2. Skill:  Having the sufficient capacity to apply advanced studies in analytical chemistry, both in theory and in practice, to both biological samples and industrial studies

Making the students reach the capacity to make advanced research in analytical chemistry and to publish these researches in scientific journals. Also providing the student with the required formation for academic career.

The PhD program encourages students to engage in advanced research; therefore it develops level of their theoretical and practical knowledge. It contributes to the evaluation of existing knowledge with an analytical and critical point of view, development of more efficient methods and creation of fields of application for these methods effectively. The PhD program forces students to design education strategies with regard to their fields of study and to contribute to the scientific development at national and international level through academic cooperation within the country and abroad as well. Within the framework of ethics of science, the PhD program makes the students aware of academic discipline and facilitate bridging between theory and practice.
