About Program

This interdisciplinary training program enables the training of experts on food safety. This graduate education program speeds up the preparation and execution of application-oriented projects that will solve current problems in the field of food safety. With the determination to realize the results obtained from these projects, it aims to eliminate the deficiencies of our country in the field of "food safety". Moreover, our graduates gain international competence in the solution of increasingly globalized food safety problems and can create opportunities for international collaborations.


Goals

The Food Safety Institute aims to solve problems about food safety through integrative research activities. With this graduate program; food safety is not only technically such as microbiology and toxicology but also; agriculture, law, economy, risk management and communication are also covered. This Master's Program is focused on providing skills such as original and critical thinking on national and global food safety issues, generating innovative solutions to practical problems, statistics and data management, knowledge transfer and effective leadership. The Institute aims to train future leaders in food safety management, develop their capacities and meet the expert needs of institutions and organizations operating in the field of food in our country. The program aims to provide students with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to food safety problems at local, regional, national and international levels through an interdisciplinary approach.

Summary of Program Outcomes

To share their thoughts and suggestions in written and verbally on related topics, to evaluate developments using scientific methods and techniques, to have the ability to develop projects for the solution of problems related to the subject.
