Goals This course’s aim is to teach data collection, processing, chosing the right statistical methods for making decisions for the community in health sciences and to teach which method applied to which problem and in what condition
Course Content Basic concepts relation to statistics , the using of statistics in the science of the health, frequency distributions and measures of central tendency, tables and graphics, sampling distributions , probability and probability distribution, estimation, confidence intervals
Learning Outcomes 1) Defines basic concepts related to statistics courses.
2) Applies statistical methods used in the health field.
3) Applies statistical methods used in the health field.
4) Creates frequency tables.
5) Frequency distributions explain the difference among the descriptive measures.
6) Frequency distribution according to the value of descriptive measures determines the shape of the distribution.
7) Creates tables and graphs.
8) Uses the probability and sampling distributions.
9) In the estimation of the parameters point and interval estimation uses.
10) By using the samples taken from the universe has predictions about the universe.
11) Confidence limits (intervals) creates.
