Goals This course provides information on health information and medical documentation concepts in health institutions, functions and principles of medical documentation and information system organization in health institutions and technology addiction.

Learning Outcomes 1) Defines the concepts of health information management, medical documents and medical documentation.
2) List the applications related to information management in health institutions
3) Recognizes and explains the international disease of classification system
4) Lists and discusses the standards regarding the privacy, security and privacy of health data
5) Explain the legal aspects of health information management.
6) Discusses the national health information system
7) Compares patient files archives of health institutions in terms of function, management, fulfillment of legal obligations, system and personnel competence.
8) Explain the concept of technology addiction and the problems of technology use.
