Goals To gain knowledge and skills at the theoretical and practical level regarding quality management in health institutions.
Course Content Quality and Features in Health Care, Quality Tools, Customer Satisfaction, Patient Safety, Quality Measurement, Quality Improvement in Health Care, Accreditation, Quality Practices in Health Institutions in Turkey
Learning Outcomes 1) Explain the concept of quality in health care.
2) Lists the structure, process and result criteria in quality evaluation.
3) Uses basic quality improvement tools.
4) Describes the administrative measures to be taken to prevent medical errors.
5) Discusses the necessary training activities for the placement of quality practices in health institutions.
6) Interprets the quality responsibilities of the relevant units and personnel in health institutions.
7) Compares quality practices in health institutions in terms of function and compliance with legal obligations.
