Goals Improving the skills of the students in interpreting personally the general literary concept and authors and their works and to giving informations to students concerning French literature.
Course Content The work of a French author from the 20th century will be selected and analyzed according to its period and the literary trend in which it is considered.
Learning Outcomes 1) The student has the knowledge of the basic and general aspects of literary / literary genres (their characteristics, examples and changes in their history in different periods), and learn how to evaluate the works in this context.
2) The student Describes the history, syllables and their distinctive literary, formal and stylistic characteristics of French Literature
3) the student can Evaluate and discuss historical, scientific, cultural, sociological and economic events related to French Literature.
4) the student Evaluates literary works in the direction of classical and contemporary literary criticism theories.
