Goals The primary aim of the course is the description of harmful insects which have economical importance for our country in the field crops.
Course Content The content of this couse is the short biology, important morphological characteristics, damage patterns and control methods of harmful insects, especially in cereal legumes, forage plants, corn and cotton.
Learning Outcomes 1) To know about the basic knowledge and concepts of field crop pests. To knw important pests of cereals and their control methods such as Eurygaster sp., Aelia sp. Zabrus sp. and Anisoplia sp.
2) Learn about general principles for the systematic, morphology and control of legumes, cereals and forage crops pests. Analyse ability for the control methods.
3) To know about important aphid and nematod pest species pests on the cereal and legume plants and their control methods
4) To know about the pests of the winter wheat and spring wheat pests such as mites their morphological, biological properties, symptoms of damage and their natural enemies and control methods.
5) To know about the pests of the winter wheat and spring wheat pests such as Lepidoptera, Diptera, and Hymenoptera pests their morphological, biological properties, symptoms of damage and their natural enemies and control methods.
6) To knows about the on the spring wheat, corn, millet and sorghum pests, which such as mites, insects and other groups of pests, their morphological, biological properties, symptoms of damage and their natural enemies.
7) To know important legume plant pests and their control methods.
8) To know about important forage crops pests and their natural enemies. Analyse their control methods
