Goals The effects and interactions of climate, soil and biological organisms on horticultural plants, the influence of ecological factors on groth, development, yield and quality parameters of horticıultural plants
Course Content The course covers the definition of horticultural ecology, plant-climate-soil interactions, global warming and its impact on horticultuarl production, biotic and abiotic stress factors and plant adaptation
Learning Outcomes 1) Gains knowledge on the effectsof ecological factors on plant growth and plant production
2) With the ecological knowledge, may improve the growth and devolepmental parameters and product yield and quality in horticultural production
3) May develop approaches for the sustainability of agricultural production and natural resources
