Goals The main objective of this course is students can have enough knowledge in order to determination of agricultural production problems of farmers, introducing alternative solutions and achieving behavioral change. In this context students are informed about main characteristics of extension service, program planning, communication process, extension methods and diffusion and adoption process.
Course Content .Definition of agricultural extension and main principles, adoption process, innovativeness, programme planning in agricultural extension, extension methods.
Learning Outcomes 1) Information about diffusion and adoption of innovations in rural area
2) Information about innovation and innovativeness
3) Knowledge about extension methods and selection of proper mehods
4) Knowledge about monitoring and evaluation process of agricultural extension programs
