Goals To provide effective planning, distribution and use of water resources in terms of both quality and quantity in agricultural engineering.
Course Content Water, its importance, the problem of water in the world, water resources in the World and Turkey, water resources management in Turkey, institutional and legal aspects, the use of water resources, systems approach to water resources problems, water resources engineering problems, the basic concepts of water resources economy , costs of water resources projects, benefits of water resources development projects, evaluation of water resources projects, international water policies and transboundary waters in Turkey, Turkey and the European Union water policy, protection of water resources and pollution problems, environmental evaluation of irrigation projects; case study GAP, use of waste water in irrigation
Learning Outcomes 1) .Calculate the cost of an irrigation project, calculate the benefits, calculate the cost of water fee
