Goals The course aims to improve PhD students' knowledge and skills in curriculum theories. Students will discuss different curriculum theories and synthesized according to different perspectives.
Course Content Basic concepts of curriculum, liberal education, pragmatic education, existentialist curriculum, radical curriculum, deliberative curriculum.
Learning Outcomes 1) To distinguish basic concepts in curriculum.
2) To compare curriculum theories and concepts.
3) To realize curriculum theories.
4) To realize social, political and individual impacts of curricular decisions.
5) To make reflective discussions on different curriculum theories.
6) To discuss curriculum theories into practice.
7) To analyze an implemented curriculum according to theoretical bases of curriculum.
