Goals Providing interpretation and evaluation of nutritional support and follow-up in different clinical situations
Course Content This course provides a foundation in the physiology of digestion, digestive system physiology, description of absorption mechanisms in different clinical situations, indications and methodology of parenteral and enteral nutrition, application techniques related to the delivery of nutritional elements to the circulation system in whole or in part via the central venous catheter and peripheral arterial route, clinical follow-up and laboratory parameters and complications fo clinical nutrition process
Learning Outcomes 1) LO1. Develop theoretical knowledge at the level of expertise based on basic competencies in the areas of food health nutrition and metabolism.and oral, gastric and intestinal parts of the gastrointestinal system
2) LO2. Understands the interdisciplinary interaction of health- food- nutrition and metabolism fields.
3) LO3. Evaluate nutritional status and basic approaches in healthy individuals and in different clinical situations
