Goals This lecture aims to evaluate the features, sources, digestion, absorbtion and metabolism, the causes of excessive intake and health interaction subjects of micronutrients in nutrition as well as to argue on the metabolic signalling pathways effecting cellular uptake of micronutrients, positive-negative nutrition balance, the mechanisms playing role on transport of macronutrients from intestine to blood subjects.
Course Content The features, sources, digestion, absorption and metabolism of micro nutrients found in foods, issues of excessive and unbalanced intake, and issues of health interaction
