Goals Teaching the pre-postharvest symptoms of fruits, vegetable and ornamental plant diseases, their economic importance, host plants, biology and control methods
Course Content Characteristics, identification, biology, forms of harm, levels of damage and methods of control against pests in fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants (especially fungus, bacteria, virus etc. that cause economic damage).
Learning Outcomes 1) Identifies pest species in vegetable,and their symptoms
2) Identifies pest species in fruit and their symptoms
3) Guides in the control against diseases seen in fruit, vegetables and ornamental plants
