Goals The aim of this course is to give students a general idea of the social, cultural and political developments in Great Britain from the early periods to the contemporary period, and to acquaint them with the outlines of locale and peoples, institutions, customs and manners, social class and daily routines, and to familiarise them with the relations between history and social life.
Course Content The historical events having affected British literature and society will be studied.
Learning Outcomes 1) The students analyse the historical terms and concepts.
2) The students analyse the historical terms and concepts.
3) The students examine the social history and literature from the beginning to the Contemporary Period.
