Goals In the context of the behavioral sciences to the fields of sociology and psychology concepts, theories and to transfer basic information; to detect the causes of human behavior, behavioral problems may be intended to have knowledge about.
Course Content To explain the emergence of behavioral sciences and related disciplines. To understand the systems in which behavioral sciences are studied and the contemporary approaches in which it is influenced. To recognize the basic concepts of behavioral sciences, to interpret personality theories and personality traits that come to the fore in organizations, to explain motivation, job satisfaction and groups by giving examples. To have knowledge about culture, values and beliefs. Recognizing and using communication types and processes correctly. To comprehend the importance of communication and behavior in daily life and business life. To teach different communication and behavior models to be successful in business and school life. To provide the necessary information to be a civilized and effective individual.
Learning Outcomes 1) It defines the basic concepts related to human behavior.
2)  It discuss individual and social factors that affect behavior.
3) It describes the effect of socialization and culture on human behavior and socialization.
4) It gives basic information about personality, learning, perception and behavioral disorders.
5) It explains the basic concepts of communication and the communication process.
6) It gives information about verbal and non-verbal communication and discusses its importance.
7) It gives information about written and mass communication and discusses its importance
8) It gives information about basic communication skills (speaking, listening, writing, reading) and gain effective communication skills.
