Goals This course aims to teach students to occupational health and safety awareness. to inform about accidents at work and occupational diseases, Received in the workplace and to inform about basic health and safety measures to be taken and to teach the rights and responsibilities under labor safety regulations.
Course Content Occupational health and safety historical development in our country and in the World. International and national organizations about Occupational health and safety. Occupational health and safety related accidents, danger, risk, near misses, and definitions of basic concepts such as occupational diseases. Statistics on accidents at work and occupational diseases in our country. Hazard resources, OSGB, ISGB and ISG Board and its duties, risk assessment and risk assessment methods, steps to take to control the risk, the measures to be taken in the workplace under the ISG, ISG education, emergency and contingency plan, health and safety signs, personal protective Gear, ISG under the employer's responsibilities, rights and responsibilities of workers,notification to the relevant authorities of occupational accidents and occupational diseases.
Learning Outcomes 1) informs officals about situations that are in conflict with emergency, occupational health and safety procedures
2) Knows the basic rules regarding occupational health and safety in the workplace.
3) 2. Collection of information in OHS activities, suggestions, etc. It helps the authorities in matters. OHS fulfills the duties assigned to its work within the framework of its responsibilities.
