Goals This course aims to give general information about research and research phases.
Course Content This course includes research planning. Defines the basic concepts of epidemiology. Defines and calculates morbidity and mortality measures.List the main features of research methods. Applies basic biostatistics methods. It deals with sampling methods.
Learning Outcomes 1) Define the basic concepts of epidemiology
2) describe and calculates the criteria for morbidity, mortality, etc.
3) list the basic properties of research methods (observational, interventional, and methodological),
4) apply basic biostatistics methods,
5) selects the methods appropriate for the research aim,
6) calculate the sampling size,
7) prepare the database in SPSS according to different variable types,
8) select the data collection methods appropriate for the research aim,
9) prepare a presentation suitable for the principles of preparing tables and graphics,
10) read article as a critical according to the rules of article writing,
11) act in accordance with ethical principles when organizing research,
