Program Learning Outcomes

No Program Requirements
1 To be able to follow conceptual and clinical scientific developments in basic measurement, evaluation and treatment techniques specific to the field of Orthotics and/or Prosthetic Biomechanics and Rehabilitation, to use deep and systematic knowledge specific to different fields encountered in the rehabilitation of patients using orthotics and prosthesis in their professional and academic studies.
2 To be able to use the theoretical and applied concepts and principles in Orthotics and/or Prosthetic Biomechanics and Rehabilitation, critically evaluating and integrating information from different disciplines, creating new information, problem solving and reaching clinical decision-making skills.
3 To able to plan research specific to the field of Orthotics and/or Prosthetic Biomechanics and Rehabilitation, taking part in projects, interpreting the results of the studies by choosing appropriate statistical methods, writing the report and presenting or publishing in scientific meetings.
4 To carry out applications and research specific to the field of Orthotics and/or Prosthesis Biomechanics and Rehabilitation independently by considering ethical values, to transfer responsibilities to group work with professional knowledge and skills.
5 To be able to use at least one foreign language in the European language portfolio, communicates effectively in the field in oral and written international professional and academic studies.
6 To be able to understand traditional and current orthotic prostheses and fittings and their properties and effects, to develop designs suitable for children, adults and elderly individuals with special needs.
7 To be able to initiate and develop new researches by generating hypotheses in the fields of orthoses, prostheses, auxiliary devices, rehabilitation and biomechanics for the physically disabled that will facilitate their lives.
8 To be able to contribute to public health and health policies, raises awareness of the individual, family and society about education, preventive and rehabilitative approaches in the field of Orthotics, Prosthesis and Biomechanics.
9 To be able to define learning needs and goals specific to the field of Orthotics and/or Prosthetic Biomechanics and Rehabilitation, continues lifelong learning, and contributes to quality improvement, vocational training and promotion programs.
10 To be able to follow the conceptual and clinical scientific developments in basic measurement, evaluation and treatment techniques specific to the field of Orthotics and/or Prosthesis Design and Production, uses deep and systematic knowledge specific to different fields related to orthosis and prosthesis design or production in his professional and academic studies.
11 Functional interaction with related persons and institutions to solve problems related to the field using strategic decision-making processes.
12 Have knowledge of legal regulations related to the field of health and his profession.
13 Prepares training materials according to the needs of the community and individuals, gives training on his field.
