Goals The aim of the course; The construction of extremity prostheses, their application on the patient, the principles of biomechanical adjustment and discussion of revisions.
Course Content It includes impression taking, model processing, casting and finishing processes, stump-socket compatibility, biomechanical adjustment principles, revision methods in prostheses in extremity prostheses.
Learning Outcomes 1) Will be able to make and apply prosthesis impression taking, model processing, selection of construction materials, lamination / deep drawing processes, biomechanical adjustments and finishing processes in prosthesis.
2) Will be able to define the problems and solve related to the patient's complaint when revision is required in the prosthesis.
3) Will be able to plan, develop, hypothesize, report and present research on prosthesis construction, biomechanics and rehabilitation.
