Goals The aim of this course is to learn the measurement, evaluation, methods, materials and instruments that the prostetist orthotist, who specializes in the field of prosthesis and biomechanics, can use in her clinic and research.
Course Content This course includes the selection, application and interpretation of functional evaluation methods and tools used in clinical and research.
Learning Outcomes 1) Selects and applies evaluation methods for the functional status of patients using prosthesis.
2) Develops the ability to choose and use methods that can measure functional changes related to the use of prosthesis in the patient.
3) Interprets, reports and presents data obtained from measurements.
4) Decides the necessary changes according to the measurement results.
5) Understands which method to use when and which parameters it is sensitive to measure.
