Goals In this lecture, it is aimed that students will be able to discuss and evaluate a scientific research in terms of methodology. In this context, it is aimed that at the end of the semester the students have gained the technical knowledge, skills, scientific attitudes and behaviors required by the scientific research method.
Course Content General knowledge and skills about the steps to be followed in the process of scientific knowledge production such as basic concepts related to scientific research ( science, scientific knowledge, variable etc.), types of scientific research, phases of scientific research, defining research problem, writing research hypothesis / questions, assamptions of the research, limitation of the research, research model, population and sample, data collection instrumens, analysis of the data, ethics in scientific research constitute the content of this course.
Learning Outcomes 1) Comprehend the differences between scientific research and other ways of reach information 
2) Understand the basic phases of scientific research 
3) Knows the principal research models
4) Konws the ethical principle should be considered during the scientific research 
5) Understand and criticize scientific papers
