Goals The aim of this course is to educate individuals in the subjects of human and economic geography of Turkey. To give information about population, settlement and economics of Turkey in this sence.
Course Content The general characteristics of human geography of Turkey; population growth and population policies in Turkey, features of Turkey's population; internal and external migration; population density and distribution; The historical development of settlements in Turkey; rural settlements; the distribution of cities and urban impacts, problems of cities; general features of Turkey's economic geography; In Turkey agriculture, livestock, forestry, industry and distribution; transport and trade in Turkey, tourism in Turkey.
Learning Outcomes 1) Interprets the characteristics of of Turkey's population and distribution and the problem.
2) Population growth in Turkey, the characteristics of the population, nüfushareket, history-settlement patterns of settlement (rural - urban settlements), housing types, place in agriculture Cultivated Plants agricultural economics, animal husbandry, forestry, energy, mining, industry, transportation, trade and tourism issues evaluate and convey information about these issues.
3) Describes the characteristics, types and distributions of settlements.
4) Transfers the Information about main livelihoods
