Goals It is aimed that teacher candidates question the aims of Social Studies teaching, recognize different methods and techniques that can be used in teaching social studies as a teacher who will fulfill these goals, and gain knowledge, skills and values, attitudes and behaviors about the application of these techniques.

Learning Outcomes 1) 1. Question the aims of social studies teaching.
2) Discusses social studies teacher competencies.
3) Writes different levels of outcomes suitable for social studies teaching.
4) Compares the content design models in social studies teaching.
5) Understands the expectations of teachers and students in the stages of the 5E Learning Model.
6) 6. Chooses measurement and evaluation tools suitable for the outcomes in social studies teaching.
7) Discuss the skills that need to be developed in students with social studies teaching.
8) Compares value education approaches.
9) 9. Matches the concept teaching techniques suitable for the acquisitions in social studies teaching.
10) 10. Understands the teaching methods that can be used in teaching social studies
