Goals The aim of this course is to provide the anatomical information necessary for anthropologists working in the field of forensic sciences to easily identify the cranium or cranium parts of different animal species at the crime scene or at different sites.
Course Content In this course; The anatomical and morphological characteristics of various equine, ruminant, carnivorous, omnivorous and avian cranium bones will be conveyed to the students comparatively.
Learning Outcomes 1) Identifies bones or bone fragments of the skeleton at crime scenes or discovery sites
2) Have knowledge of osteology of different species
3) Have anatomical terminology necessary for reporting and identification from anthropological material.
