Goals Water quality control criteria, lake, stream, marine and ground water pollution, legislation and technical regulations for water pollution control, wastewater treatment technologies.
Course Content Importance of water pollution for human being and environment, water quality control criteria, monitoring of water quality, water quality classification and purposes of use, heavy metal pollution, petroleum pollution, industrial pollution, pesticide pollution, detergent pollution, thermal and organic pollution, pollution by toxic and dangerous matters, radioactive pollution, pollution by aquaculture and fertilizers, acide rains and effects, microbial pollution, national legislation regulations for water pollution control, international legislation regulations for water pollution control, wastewater treatment technologies.
