Goals The aim of the course is to ensure knowledge acquisition about the aquaculture systems, aquaculture principles, management objectives of aquaculture systems, production strategies, keeping record for management analysis, production limiting factors, water and health management.
Course Content This course contains the basic topics such as cultured species in Turkey and world, culture systems and principles of the fish farming, aquaculture production strategies, management principles of the farming systems, hatchery management, pond management, net cages management, keeping records for management analysis, factors limiting the production, and management related with water and health in fish farms.
Learning Outcomes 1) He gains knowledge about aquaculture in World and Turkey
2) They inform on aquaculture systems and basic principles of fish farming.
3) They teach to be practice and develop the management principles of culture systems.
4) They teach to be practice analyzing the farming strategies.
5) They teach keeping a record and evaluating for managerial analyzing of fish farms.
6) They teach to be practice scrutinizing the production limiting factors and designing the water parameters and hygiene principles in aquaculture.
